New Indigo Kitchener and Indigo Cambridge locations will embody store concept of cultural department store for book lovers.
Toronto, ON (February 7, 2018) – Indigo (TSX: IDG), the world’s first cultural department store for book lovers, is pleased to announce retail investments in Southern Ontario with the relocation and rebranding of Chapters Kitchener to Indigo Kitchener and the opening of a new store, Indigo Cambridge. Both new locations will have a warm and modern aesthetic where customers can explore the best in books, beautiful and exclusive in-house designed lifestyle products and must-have specialty brands. Customers can expect to find the same great service they know and love at Indigo and Chapters locations across the country.
Indigo Kitchener is located at 225 Fairway Road South and is expected to open during spring 2018. Almost all departments will expand their current assortment including more paper products, board games and toys. Thousands of more titles will be added to shelves and a fresh new IndigoKids department will inspire creativity and imagination. Chapters Kitchener at 135 Gateway Park Drive will remain open until the new location has opened.
Set to open fall 2018, Indigo Cambridge will join a number of exciting retailers at Cambridge Centre shopping mall located at 355 Hespeler Road. The 21,700 square foot space will have robust book assortment and customers will enjoy a beautiful gift and paper selection. The store will also have an exceptional IndigoKids department as well as a full café.

Kingpin Bowlounge to Open in Cambridge Fall 2018!
Southern Ontario’s second Kingpin to open at Cambridge Centre Mall
KITCHENER, Ont. – Bingemans is pleased to announce the expansion of its entertainment products to the Cambridge marketplace! Cambridge Movie-goers are Invited to Sit Back, Relax and Put Their Feet Up With New Recliner Seating at Galaxy Cinemas Cambridge
All Seats to be Replaced with Reclining, Luxury Seats
TORONTO, ON, (TSX: CGX), May 9, 2017 – Cineplex today announced that it will be replacing all of the seats at Galaxy Cinemas Cambridge with luxurious, reclining seats. All nine of the theatre’s auditoriums will be upgraded from traditional cinema seats to reclining seats. Construction is expected to start this fall and be completed by the end of the year.
The luxury recliners have footrests that rise at the touch of a button for maximum comfort while enjoying a film. The concept has been rolled-out at select Cineplex theatres nationwide and has proved to be very popular with Canadian movie-goers.

While all of the theatre’s nine auditoriums will transition to reclining seats over the coming months, Cineplex will undertake the installation and reopen the auditoriums in a phased approach.
